2. General information

All our prices are inclusive of the VAT (10%, 14% or 24 %), prices are shown in Euro (€), unless otherwise specified.

We reserve the right to declare a deal null and void or change the cost, in case the ordered product or its price does not correspond to its actual market value due to, for instance, technical failure in the Internet shop or human factor.

We reserve the right to change the prices and terms. When placing an order, customers undertake to comply with these terms.

 

 

3. Payment and service cancellation terms of Lauhatuotanto Oy

 

3.1. Courses, hikes or events, as well as rent of equipment exceeding a 24-hour period

These conditions apply to courses, hikes or events held by Lauhatuotanto Oy, as well as rent of equipment exceeding a 24-hour period.

 

Terms of payment:

Customers must acquaint themselves with the event contents and inform Lauhatuotanto Oy on any errors before paying for the service. Contractual arrangements arise only when Customers order the event of rent the equipment.

 

Terms of cancellation:

a) Should the event get cancelled at least 14 days prior to its beginning, we shall try to select a new date for the event. Should this new date be deemed impossible, we shall charge a fine in the amount € 25 per person.

b) In case the cancellation happens later than 14 days before the event, we charge the cancellation fine in full amount.

There is no compensation for the unused services.

 

3.2. Rented equipment

These terms apply to all the rented equipment of Lauhatuotanto Oy, as well as when renting for less than 24 hours.

 

Terms of payment:

Customers must acquaint themselves with the event contents and inform Lauhatuotanto Oy on any errors before paying for the service. Contractual arrangements arise only when Customers rent the equipment.

 

Terms of cancellation:

a) Should the event get cancelled at least 24 hours prior to its beginning, we shall try to select a new date for the event. Should this new date be deemed impossible, we shall charge a fine in the amount € 10 per person.

b) In case the cancellation happens later than 24 hours before the event, we charge the cancellation fine in full amount.

c) If, by decision of the Lauhatuotanto Oy personnel, the equipment cannot be rented without violating the safety regulations, the order may be transferred to another time or cancelled free of charge, also later than 24 hours prior to the start of the rent.

There is no compensation for the unused services.

 

4. Sauna renting terms

Ordering

Customers are responsible for acquainting themselves with the object description, instructions, as well as terms of reservation.

Reservations made by customers become compulsory, when the confirmation of reservation/payment has been sent to the customer to their e-mail address.

Customers pay for the reservation by their selected method of payment in compliance with the terms of that payment method.

The reservation system shall send a confirmation of the reservation/payment to the customer to their e-mail address.

Persons reserving the sauna must be of full legal age. We do not rent saunas to groups of young people including underage person(s).

In case the customer books an event ending later than the operating hours of the premises, the Customer shall be responsible for locking the sauna door and leave the place according to the agreement.

The object description includes the list of territories in Lauhansarvi serving alcohol. It is not allowed to bring your own alcohol to such places. If you leave the sauna after the closing time, the Customer must lock the place according to the received instructions. Should the Customer fail to leave the sauna at the agreed time, Lauhatuotanto Oy has the right to charge the Customer a double rent amount.

 

Terms of cancellation

If the time ordered in the sauna is cancelled at least 14 days prior to the event, we shall try to select a new time for this. Should this new time be deemed impossible, we shall charge 50% of the order amount.

If less than 14 days remain before the beginning of the order, we shall charge a cancellation fine in the full amount.

There is no compensation for the unused services.

 

Lauhatuotanto Oy shall be entitled to cancel the order

In the circumstances of force majeure, Lauhatuotanto Oy shall terminate the reservation agreement. The Company must immediately notify the ordering customer on it.

In this case the customer is entitled to be compensated for the paid rent amount in full.

Expenses, which might have arisen for the customer in relation to force majeure, shall not be compensated.

 

Keys

Lauhatuotanto Oy ensures opening of premises for customers.

In case the event in the sauna ends later than the operating hours of the premises or is held in a specially agreed time, the Customer shall be responsible for returning the keys to the renter and must leave the place according to the agreement.

For the lost or unreturned key, Lauhatuotanto Oy has the right to charge compensation for all expenses related to ordering new keys or replacement of locks in full amount, but at least 60 Euro.

Lauhatuotanto Oy has the right to charge penalty in such cases, when because of a lost or left inside key, the Company has to open the premises at such times when the reception desk is closed. On weekdays from 8 am till 9 pm the penalty is 60 Euro, at other times – 100 Euro.

 

The use of the object

The object is described in the description

During the renting period the Customer has the right to use the object and its equipment as well as separately agreed services.

Should the tenant discover any faults or other defects on the object, he must immediately notify the person responsible for reservations (dispatcher).

The Customer must keep the object clean during the rental period and upon its completion.

If the Customer leaves any traces of his stay uncleaned, Lauhatuotanto Oy shall present him with an invoice for cleaning the premises in full (e.g. vomit, feces, etc.)

 

Compensation for the damages

The Customer must compensate Lauhatuotanto Oy for the caused damages. The tenant is responsible also for other guests present at the object and the damages they caused during the rental period.

Lauhatuotanto Oy shall not compensate for the damages or other expenses related to electricity cutoffs, natural conditions, for instance, insects, animals, road impassability or sudden weather changes.

 

5. Conditions related to accommodation in Lauhansarvi

The following conditions apply to accommodation services in the Nature Tourism Center Lauhansarvi, where advance reservations are not made. The order becomes compulsory starting from the moment of the order irrespective of the fact if it was made by telephone or in writing. The ordering person must be at least 20 years of age, and he must present a photo I.D. if necessary. Youth groups containing underage person(s) must constantly have a supervisor at least 30 years old; in case of accommodation of a group, class, etc. – a group coach, homeroom teacher, etc.

 

Order

The Customer is responsible for acquainting himself with the object description, instructions, as well as terms of reservation.

The reservation made by the customer becomes compulsory when the confirmation of reservation/payment is sent to the customer’s e-mail address or delivered over the phone.

The customer shall pay for the reservation by the selected method of payment complying with the terms of this particular payment method.

The reservation system shall send the confirmation of the reservation/payment to the specified customer’s e-mail address.

Lauhatuotanto Oy is not responsible for the failed reservation; the customer must immediately get in touch with the seller to resolve the situation.

Lauhatuotanto Oy does not guarantee that the object will still be vacant in such a situation.

If the object is not vacant, the money is returned to the customer or he is offered another object, if possible.

 

Cancellation and change of the order

The cancellation date shall be the day when Lauhatuotanto Oy got the cancellation information.

The customer is responsible for the timely sending of the cancellation notice.

In case the Customer cancels his order,

- 30 days or more before the beginning of the order, the 60 € fine per cottage is charged.

- when it is less than 30 days before the beginning of the order, the 100 % fine of the object rent is charged.

- For objects rented according to the special discount code always the entire rent amount is charged irrespective of the time of cancellation.

- Terms of cancellation do not apply to group cancellations, where 2 or more cottages were reserved, or if a separate written offer with special terms was made for this order.

Upon the Customer’s request, the reservation may be put off on the following conditions:

- postponement can be made only once.

- the postponement must take place no later than 7 days before the start of the initial reservation.

- the cost of postponement is 25 Euro (inclusive of VAT)

- if the postponed order is cancelled, the entire amount of the rent shall be charged as fine irrespective of the time of cancellation.

The Customer has the right to receive back the amounts paid by him less expenses (60,00 Euro per cottage), and administrative fee (25,00 Euro per invoice), if the cancellation took place due to the situation where the customer himself, or the person sharing the household with him, fell seriously ill, became the victim of an accident or died. It is necessary to present reliable proof of the described event (for example, information from the doctor). If the cancellation occurs 48 hours before the start of the order or during his stay at the object, the rent payment made by the Customer shall not be returned. If the Customer changes the object of his visit or the period of stay at the object, it is considered cancellation and a new order.

 

Lauhatuotanto Oy has the right to cancel the order

In case of force majeure, Lauhatuotanto Oy may terminate the reservation agreement. The Company shall immediately notify the Customer about this.

In this case the Customer is entitled to receive the paid rent amount in full.

Expenses, which might have arisen for the customer in relation to force majeure, shall not be compensated.

 

Keys

Keys can be obtained from the reception desk of the Lauhansarvi company; in case it is closed – by separate agreement.

The Customer shall return the keys to the reception desk, and in case it is closed – leave the keys inside the house on the dining table and lock the doors.

For the lost or unreturned key, Lauhatuotanto Oy has the right to charge compensation for all expenses related to ordering new keys or replacement of locks in full amount, but at least 60 Euro.

During the rent period the Customer has the right to use the object and its equipment as well as specially agreed services.

Bedding and towels are not included in the basic cost of the rent unless otherwise stated in the object description. The Customer must always use bed sheets on the bed. The bedding and towels can be ordered at reservation or brought with.

Should the tenant discover any faults or other defects at the object, he must immediately notify the person responsible for reservations (dispatcher).

The Customer must keep the object clean and dispose of garbage at the collection site under the shed during his rent and upon completion, unless he ordered cleaning of the place after his leaving.

If the Customer has not ordered cleaning of the place after his leaving, he must clean the premises before departure.

If the Customer failed to clean the place, Lauhatuotanto Oy shall present him with an invoice for cleaning the place in full, minimum within the limits of the amount specified in the description.

The object is in use by the Customer during the period determined in the object description.

The maximum number of people allowed to use the cottage is specified in the object description as the number of beds, or that agreed upon during the reservation. It is necessary to specially agree on holding festivals and other events, when the number of guests at the object can be temporarily exceeded. The use of tents, trailers or rented equipment (e.g. inflatable pool brought with) is prohibited at the object without special permission. Smoking is prohibited inside all premises. At nighttime guests must behave in such a manner that noise is not heard in other cottages.

Pets

o Permission for pets in the cottages is always specified separately.

o The ordering person is fully responsible for compensating for any damage caused by his pets.

o The pets must always be on a leash on the yard territory.

o Pets may not be at the accommodation object unsupervised.

o Pet owners must pay special attention to tidiness at the accommodation object. The accommodation object is always checked after the departure of pets and is cleaned by Lauhatuotanto Oy, if necessary.

o Pet owners must also observe separate specifying instructions relating to animals.

o For smoking or keeping animals at the object, where pets are not allowed, there is a charge for cleaning (minimum 500 €).

 

Compensation for damages

Customers must compensate for the damage caused to the object. The tenant is also responsible for the other guests present at the object as well as for the damage caused by them during the rent period.

Lauhatuotanto Oy shall not compensate for the damages or other expenses related to electricity cutoffs, natural conditions, for instance, insects, animals, road impassability or sudden weather changes.

If the object does not accept or accepts the Customer arriving late, the customer is not entitled to the return of the rent payment. If the Customer terminates his order and leaves the object early, the compensation for the unused time is not paid, and the Customer is not entitled to the return of the rent payment.

 

Complaints

Any complaints must be made immediately after the occurrence of their cause.

Should it be deemed impossible to reach a mutually satisfying solution for the disputed matter, or there is a claim for damage compensation, the complaint must be made in writing within one month following the end of the rent period.

Lauhatuotanto Oy shall use its best endeavors to consider the complaint as soon as possible, no later than within one month.

Should the Customer and Lauhatuotanto Oy fail to reach understanding, the Customer may send the matter to the Consumer Affairs Commission for consideration.
